Ronald Rugh Keibler
Ronald Rugh Keibler, 64, of Butler Township passed away Monday while under the care of the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
Born Aug. 23, 1953, in Slickville, Pa., he was the son of the late Howard Eugene and Agnes Johanna McCauley Keibler.
Ron loved woodworking. He was employed for many years by the Pine-Richland School District, serving as the HVAC maintenance foreman. As a handyman, he could be counted on to fix anything.
Ron was an active volunteer at Kids Day America. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons of Punxsutawney, the Shriners and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Pittsburgh.
He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debra Phillips Keibler, whom he married on Sept. 2, 1972; his sons, Dexter (Michelle) Keibler of Meridian and Howard Franklin Keibler; his five grandchildren, Dalton Michael, Dawson Riley, Zoe Mae, Alissa Jade and Landon Blake; his brothers, Dexter Allen (Barb) Keibler, Howard Merle (Carole) Keibler and Eric Scott (Brenda) Keibler; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Eugene Keibler.
KEIBLER — Friends of Ronald Rugh Keibler, who died Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev.
