Cora E. Carbin
Cora Elizabeth Carbin, 6, of Butler passed away Friday evening at her home following a lifelong battle of a heart transplant followed by cancer.
She was born Aug. 28, 2008, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Thomas W. and Faye A. Raypush Carbin.
Cora was a first grade student at Summit Township Elementary School. She loved horses, her cousins, the park and her dog, Posey.
She was a member of Saint Wendelin Roman Catholic Church.
Cora is survived by her parents; her maternal grandparents, Frank and Ann Raypush; her paternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Ann Carbin, all of Butler; also a lot of aunts, uncles and cousins.
CARBIN — Friends of Cora Elizabeth Carbin, who died Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler, on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Saint Wendelin R.C.
