This is a response to reading, watching, and reacting to the tragedy caused by dog attacks. The numerous dogs that are owned and kept for pets have no need for the sharp teeth that were once used for hunting and killing their food. The store aisles have plentifully stocked commercially processed food supplies for dog dinners that do not require the sharp canine teeth. To try to put an end to the imminent scarring maladies of dog bite victims and fatal dog attacks I suggest that the reader pass along the sentiment that domestic dogs have the longer sharp front teeth removed or ground down to the level of the rest of their teeth. Dogs are already required to be licensed and have rabies shots by law which must be repetitively maintained by the dog's master and having dangerous teeth fixed will be a single event in a dog's life. An event that when managed over the entire pet population will decrease the tragic events that shed many tears before and after making the news media. We already govern people who would buy firearms by doing background checks because their firearm possession is a propensity for tragic circumstances. Civilization describes this as tragic and it remains within animal nature as dogs still have a weapon that was once used at their discretion for survival. A dog's propensity for circumstance is a concern because being unleashed it most likely is taking charge of its own alpha instincts without an owner present. Even when on a leash many owners have difficulty getting their live property to disengage from behavior recognizable within the nature of animals. One of these behaviors is to bite. So if your dogs are not used for harming or killing live animals, which I believe to be illegal anyway, stop the malicious biting. Not having the money to do this is an unpardonable excuse because owning a pet is actually a luxury item where providing for a dog is part of a manageable budget. Let's all walk down the street, through the park, or play in the yard without that risk, let's make that a zero possibility.
