John J. Beblo

John J. Beblo, 72, of Chicora passed away on Friday at his home.

He was born May 9, 1946, in Butler, to the late Peter B. Beblo Sr. and the late Mary T. Chajka Beblo.

John was a 1964 graduate of Butler Area High School. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Vietnam War.

John worked as a painter and stenciler for Pullman Standard for 17 years, followed by Trinity Industries for 10 years and most recently for Valley Lines.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and of the Happy Hunter Club.

John enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda E. Montag Beblo, whom he married Feb. 14, 1970; his daughter, Nicole E. Fleeger and her husband, Richard, of West Sunbury; his granddaughter, Sophia E. Fleeger; two brothers, Peter B. Beblo Jr. of Enfield, Conn., and Charles Beblo of Butler; four nieces; six great-nieces; three nephews; four great-nephews; his brother-in-law, Paul Montag and his wife, Joyce, of Slippery Rock; and his dog, Wolf.

BEBLO — Per the wishes of John J. Beblo, who died Friday, July 13, 2018, there will be no public visitation.Private funeral services will be held at the family's convenience.Arrangements were handled by Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Moniteau School District Little Warriors Basketball Program, 1810 W.
