Amelia Harding

Amelia T. (Onufer) Harding, 92, of Buffalo Township passed away peacefully on Friday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born on Oct. 9, 1920, in Creighton, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Stofick) Onufer.

Amelia was a member of the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Freeport.

She was head of housekeeping at the Holiday Inn, RIDC Park, O'Hara Township, for many years. She enjoyed being with family and cooking.

She is survived by her sons, David T. (Erma) Harding of Charlotte, N.C., and John P. (Nadine) Harding of West Sunbury; and her daughters, Paulette (the late Raymond) Lemp of Stafford, Va., and Sue Ann (Douglas) Fultz of Baden. She also is survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Harding, who died Sept. 14, 2000; her sisters, Anne Onufer, Mary Moxie and Margaret Hussar; and her brother, Joseph Onufer.

HARDING — Friends of Amelia T. (Onufer) Harding, who passed away Friday, May 31, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the PAUL R. AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 921 Freeport Road, Creighton, where a parting prayer will be at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary, Mother of God Church, Freeport, with Father Edward Volz officiating.Entombment will follow at Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
