Bennett

Twila Bennett, 81, of Portersville passed away on Thursday while under the care UPMC Passavant-Cranberry Hospital in Cranberry Township.

Born April 2, 1931, in Jackson Township, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Faye (Herbling) Shisler.

Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Grace Church of Harmony. She enjoyed karaoke and going to flea markets and garage sales. Mrs. Bennett loved her family, music and her dog, “Baby.”

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond C. Bennett, who passed away Nov. 24, 2002, and her son, Craig Bennett, who passed away on June 3, 2005.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Denise Bennett of Mars; three sisters, Wanda Buck and her husband, Clayton, of Meridian, Evonne Gettemy of Valencia and Karen Launer and her husband, Thomas, of Harmony; five grandchildren, Shawn Bennett, Shannon Bennett, Bryan Bennett, Tara Getty and Todd Bennett; seven great-grandchildren, Joshua Bennett, Shyanne Getty, Nevada Getty, Hailey Mitchell, Ciara Otte, Logan Bennett and Destiny Bennett; and a great-great-granddaughter, Brayley Bennett.
