Allene L. Curry

Allene L. Curry, 89, of Concordia at the Orchard, died Sunday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born July 2, 1927, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Michael Lepore and Josephine Sequete Lepore.

Allene was a homemaker and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Butler. She enjoyed going on cruises, casino trips and mostly her life was centered around her family.

Surviving are her sons, Robert E. (Karen) Curry of Cranberry Township, Jeffrey E. (Tammy) Curry of North Lima, Ohio, and Michael H. Curry of Austintown, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Scott Curry, Christopher Curry, David Cooley, Shannon Curry, Turner Curry, Mitchell Curry, Justin Curry and Madison Curry; two great-grandsons, Justin Curry and Canyon Curry; one brother, Michael Lepore of Butler; and one sister, Judy Lohmuller of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Curry, who she married July 3, 1948, and who died Dec. 1, 2010; one brother, Angelo Lepore; and two sisters, Elizabeth Ramelli and Antoinette Rhodaberger.

CURRY — Friends of Allene L. Curry, who died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

Funeral Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
