Johnston

Beverly A. (Bouch) Johnston, 79, of Kittanning, and formerly of Freeport, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Butler.

She was born Feb. 11, 1943, in Freeport, and was the daughter of the late Joseph A. “Jack” and Esther L. (Albaugh) Bouch.

Beverly enjoyed making crafts, any type of music, reading and spending time camping at Forest Circle Bluegrass. Her greatest joy was spending time with family.

She is survived by her brother, Robert (Wendy) Bouch of Freeport; her daughter, Christine Anderson of Dayton; her son, Joseph (Judy) Johnston Jr. of Kittanning; her son, Robert Johnston of Kittanning; her daughter, Catherine (Patrick) Bloom of Butler; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph H. Johnston; two brothers, Joseph “Jerry” Bouch Jr. and Harry “Cub” Bouch; and her daughter-in-law, Toni Hilliard.

JOHNSTON — Family and friends of Beverly A. (Bouch) Johnston, who died Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, will be received from noon until 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. Tuesday at KENNEDY & BLODGETT FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning.

Interment will be in the Mateer Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in Beverly’s honor in care of Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home.
