Yvonne Sacripant Bland, 61, of Nashville, Tenn., died suddenly on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, in Tampa, Fla., of natural causes.

Born on March 1, 1961, in Jacksonville, N.C., Yvonne spent her entire childhood in Evans City, and graduated from Seneca Valley High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from Grove City College, and obtained her Master of Arts degree in communications from Emerson College in Boston, Mass.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Stephen G. Bland; her son, Geoffrey H. Bland; her mother, Beverly (Standen) Sacripant; dozens of relatives; and hundreds of close friends.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her father, Warren M. Sacripant.

BLAND — Visitation for Yvonne Sacripant Bland, who died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER OF CONNOQUENESSING TOWNSHIP, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.

A celebration of Yvonne’s life will follow at the Stables at Connoquenessing, located directly behind the funeral home, with the Rev. Christopher Barker Ph.D. officiating.

She will be laid to rest privately at Evans City Cemetery.
