Library to host pop-up book show
The South Butler Community Library, 240 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will have a display of 3D pop-up books at the library at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 9.
Rue Snider has gathered over 100 pop-up books from his travels since his retirement 15 years ago. He will talk about the history, origin and interesting facts about many of the books.
Attendees will have time for questions and also to browse the tables for a closer look at individual pop-up books. Some books open up in layers to fill a table, while others have intricate designs in small spaces. This is a free event, and no registration is required. For information, contact the library at 724-352-4810 or email director@southbutlerlibrary.org.
