Janet L. Kelly
Janet L. Kelly, 68, of Butler passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 10, 1945, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Supko Gavula.
She had worked as an X-ray technician at Butler Memorial Hospital. She later worked for Dr. Cottington and McCory until her retirement.
She enjoyed spending time with her dog and watching butterflies.
She is survived by one sister, Mary Elaine Benson of Renfrew; one niece, Julie Stock of Renfrew; two nephews, Donald (Dana) Benson of Ellwood City and Joseph (Vicki) Benson of Granada Hills, Calif.; one sister-in-law, Rose (Paul) Benninger of Chicora; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Kelly, who passed away Sept. 11, 1996.
KELLY — Friends of Janet L. Kelly, who died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian, with the Rev. James Murphy, pastor, officiating.Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
