Christeen L. Detisch, 83, of Somerset, formerly of Harrisville, passed away Saturday at Somerset Hospital.

Born Nov. 11, 1931, in Woodsfield, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Mary (West) Lanning. She also was preceded in death by her husband, William Detisch in March 2015; her sister, Eleanor Heald; and her brother, William Lanning.

Christeen is survived by her daughter, Jan Smith and her husband, Steven; grandchildren, Amy Voorhis and her husband, Cris and Maggie Smith, all of Leesburg, Va.; and her sister, Betty Brestel of West Palm Beach, Fla.

Christeen was a member of the St. Anthony's Parish in Forestville. She volunteered for the Butler County Meals on Wheels and was a member of the Red Hat Society in Somerset.
