DAVID BOCCI (Butler) won the 200-meter backstroke for Clarion’s men’s swim team in a 131-66 victory over Edinboro. He swam a leg of the winning 200 medley relay as well.
JADEN DAVINSIZER (Seneca Valley) scored 11 points — including three treys — as Grove City’s women’s basketball team defeated Westminster, 71-51.
MASON BUSH (Seneca Valley) scored 26 points and had four steals in Penn State Altoona’s 129-90 men’s basketball win over Hilbert. PSU Altoona set a program record for most points scored in a game.
MICHAEL PHILLIPS (Knoch) won the 400 individual medley for the Westminster men’s swimming team with a time of 4 minutes, 42.21 seconds. He was also runner-up in the 100 breaststroke in the Titans’ 173-122 loss to Mount Union.
RACHEL LEDFORD (Butler) won the 100 backstroke in 1:02.96 and the 200 individual medley in 2:20.66 for Grove City in the Wolverines’ 173-95 women’s swimming victory over Ohio Northern.
JACOB PATTON (Moniteau) finished runner-up in the heptathlon for Westminster at the Youngstown State University Mid Major Invitational. He totaled 4,677 points in the seven-event competition in establishing a new school record for that event. His score ranks eighth in all of Division III. Patton won the 60-meter hurdles in 8.68 seconds and 1,000 meters in 2:49.47.
ANTHONY KAMENSKI (Karns City) placed 26th overall in the 60-meter hurdles and 28th in the 400 meters for Westminster at the YSU Mid Major Invite.
JUSTIN REDILLA (Seneca Valley) ran a leg of Westminster’s distance medley relay which placed 13th at the YSU Mid Major Invite with a time of 12:08.48. That time ranks second in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.
GABBY KUTCHMA (Seneca Valley) placed 12th in the mile for Clarion’s women’s indoor track team at the Bison Open. She qualified for the PSAC Championships with a time of 5 minutes, 26.44 seconds.
JAMES PARENTI (Moniteau) placed 14th in the weight throw for Grove City with a toss of 45 feet, 9.75 inches at the YSU Mid Major Invite. His toss was second among Division III throwers.
HUNTER JONES (Karns City) ran a leg of Grove City’s 1,6000-meter relay that placed 14th at the YSU Mid Major UInvite with a time of 3:35.15.
QUINTIN WEAVER (Union) set the Thiel indoor tack record in the 1,000 meters by running the event in 2 minutes, 37.81 seconds at the YSU Mid Major Invite.
