Mario V. Guadagni

Mario V. Guadagni, 96, of Butler passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

Born Nov. 12, 1924, in Butler, he was a son of the late Arturo and Concettina Catalano Guadagni.

He worked as an inspector at Armco Steel.

Mario was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, where he served for many years as an usher and a eucharistic minister.

He belonged to the Italian Society of Butler, and American Legion Post 778.

He is survived by one son, Joseph Guadagni and his wife, Jackie, of Butler; two grandchildren, Joseph Guadagni II of Butler, and Jenna Guadagni of Georgia; and two great-grandchildren, Trey Guadagni and Stella Gornail.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances G. Mancini Guadagni, who passed away March 20, 2019; his daughter, Nancy Guadagni, who passed away Feb. 23, 1966; and his brother, Armando “Coke” Guadagni, who passed away Oct. 19, 2016.

GUADAGNI — Funeral services and burial were private for Mario V. Guadagni, who died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
