Allan I. “Bud” Daum

Allan I. “Bud” Daum, 93, of Butler passed away Tuesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born March 19, 1924, in Clarion County, the son of the late Warren W. and Gladys (Mong) Daum.

Bud had been in sales for Butler Packing Company and Nationwide Insurance.

He was an announcer at Lernerville Speedway and a radio personality for WISR. He was past exalted ruler for the Butler Elks and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Bud enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and anything racing.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, June (Simpson) Daum of Butler; a daughter, Michele Hoobs of Butler; a son, Warren (Darby) Daum of Butler; three grandchildren, Christopher Hoobs and A.J. Daum, both of Butler, and Jaimie Daum of Fort Collins, Colo.; his sister, Ruth Wagner of Oil City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

DAUM — Friends of Allan I. “Bud” Daum, who died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Butler, with his pastor, the Rev.
