Harry C. Kirk, 74, of Connoquenessing Township died Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born Dec. 11, 1935, in Butler, a son of the late Clement and Vera Sarver Kirk.

Harry was a 1953 graduate of Butler High School. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Army in Korea.

Mr. Kirk worked as a railroad freight conductor. He retired from Conrail in 1997, following 42 years of service.

Harry was a member of the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler. He was also a member of the United Transportation Union.

His wife, Ann Weser Kirk, who he married Dec. 30, 1957, survives him. Also surviving are two daughters, Carolyn A. Enslen of Butler and Debra J. Kirk of West Sunbury; a son, Mark A. Kirk of Butler; three grandchildren and their spouses, Jeremy and Andrea Enslen, Nicole and Bruce Hunt and Kelly Kirk; a great-granddaughter, Alivia Coddington; and a sister and her husband, Agnes and William Sarver of Prospect. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive him.

The family would like to acknowledge four dear friends and caregivers, Marsha Colosimo, Lori Wadowsky, Adam Coddington and Sharon Fletcher.

His brother, Ralph Kirk, and three sisters, Josephine Moran, Marie Ion and Elsie Kirk preceded him in death.

<B>KIRK </B>— There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial for Harry C. Kirk, who died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler. Interment will follow at the St. Peter Cemetery.Funeral arrangements by the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, Butler.The Women's Council of St. Peter's Parish will meet at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday at the church to recite the rosary.Memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
