Richard A. “Dick” Krainz

Richard A. “Dick” Krainz, 78, of Bruin, formerly of Eau Claire, passed away Monday at the Grove of Harmony after an extended illness.

He was born in Pittsburgh on Nov. 12, 1938.

Dick retired from Armco, painted cars and did auto mechanical repairs.

He loved riding his Harley and enjoyed judging GTO contests.

An honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army, he served from 1960 to 1963 attaining the rank of private first class.

Surviving are his spouse, Marianne O'Shanka Krainz; two daughters, Vickie Krainz Warner of Bruin and Martha Krainz of Hilliards; son, John Krainz of Coraopolis; four grandchildren, Stephanie Graham, Keith Beck, Nicole Palmer and Heather Krainz; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents-in-law, John and Virginia Kemp.

KRAINZ — At the request of Richard A. “Dick” Krainz, who died Monday, June 19, 2017, there will be no visitation. A memorial may be held at a later date.Arrangements have been entrusted to Buzard Funeral Home of Eau Claire.
