Devin M. Kirk

Devin M. Kirk, 17, of West Sunbury passed away Tuesday at his home.

Devin was born Jan. 23, 1996, in Butler; the son of Terry and Angela M. (Kirk) Christy.

Devin was a member of the North Washington Presbyterian Church. He had just finished his junior year at Moniteau High School. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and sports.

Devin is survived by his parents, his sister, Halie Christy at home; stepsister and stepbrothers, Chelsea Christy of Freeport, David Christy of Slippery Rock and Devin Christy of Freeport; maternal grandmother, Debra (James) Spence of West Sunbury; maternal grandfather, Allen (Carol) Kirk of Chambersburg, Pa.; uncles and aunts, Michael (Manda) Kirk of Union, James D. Christy, Arney (Robin) Christy and Janet (Steve) Cumberland, all of West Sunbury; and several cousins.

KIRK — Friends of Devin M. Kirk, who passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be at the North Washington Presbyterian Church, Fairview Road, North Washington, at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Kevin Channel, his pastor, officiating.Burial will be private.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to North Washington Presbyterian Church.
