There is a calendar

In my heart.

Filled with the things

Which you were a part.

Things that cannot

Be wiped away.

Though you are gone,

They are here to stay.

The many things

You shared with me.

Recorded on my calendar

Only I can see.

Remembering the times

I spend with you.

And the childish things

That you would do.

On my old calendar

Is a new x crossed.

Tucked away in my heart

For my dear one lost.

Your birthday was here,

You wold be twenty one.

But in heaven you are ageless,

With Jesus, God’s son.

Heavenly Father up above,

You are caring for the son I love.

Someday I know

I will see him again.

All these memories,
