Holly J. Rankin, 35, of West Sunbury went to be with the Lord on March 8.

She was born July 12, 1977, in North Carolina and was the daughter of Thomas and Paula (Fennell) Davis.

She was a loving person who liked to curl up with a book and a cup of tea on a stormy day. Her life was hard, but she had a smile for everyone. She was a member of the Thorn Creek United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her son, Jacob Thomas Rankin; her parents, Thomas and Paula Davis; a grandmother, Pattie Fennell; two sisters, Rebecca Rettig and her husband, John, and Melissa Rankin and her friend, Joe Strobel; three nephews, Tyler Cumba, Brandon Rankin and Mitchell Rankin; two nieces, Tatyanna Cumba and Madison Rankin, all of Butler; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Butler Memorial Hospital and the Butler Ambulance Service.
