Ann Andreassi
Ann Andreassi, 93, formerly of Roseville, died Wednesday at Armstrong County Medical Center in Kittanning, where she has lived for the past six years. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Ann was born March 27, 1923, in Bradys Bend. She is the eldest of 10 children, born to Grace and Paul DeBacco. Her siblings are John (Irene) DeBacco, Philomena “Fannie” Greenawalt, Victor (Florence) DeBacco, Ralph DeBacco, Robert (Betty) DeBacco, Ronald (Jane) DeBacco, Dominic (Yvonne) DeBacco, Louis (Mary) DeBacco and Loretta (Francis) Posey.
Ann married Fred Andreassi from New York City on Sept. 28, 1946, at Saint Patrick's Church in Bradys Bend. Ann and Fred then built a beautiful life in the Bronx, N.Y., where they had four children, GraceAnne (Bob) DeCandido of Bronx, N.Y., Fred Andreassi of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Nat Andreassi of Yonkers, N.Y., and Monica Andreassi of East Brady. Together they shared love of their families, devotion to their faith and the joy of music.
Ann returned to Roseville, Pa., to live with her beloved mother, Grace, upon the sudden death of her husband, Fred, in 1976. Grace and Ann shared a home, a love of family, the enjoyment of cooking and the fun of yelling “Bingo!”
Ann was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, where she was active in the Altar Rosary Society, the Young at Heart and sang in the choir for many years. She also was a member of the Sons of Italy 1484 in Bradys Bend.
Ann's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, Keith DeCandido, Jared, Blair and Dillon Andreassi, Alissa Shipman and Victoria Andreassi and Laura, Elizabeth and Joseph King and her great-grandchildren, Olivia Andreassi and Jaxon Shipman.
Ann will forever be remembered as a sweet, loving and gentle soul.

ANDREASSI — Friends of Ann Andreassi, who died Wednesday, April 13, 2016, will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 707 Kellys Way, East Brady.A parish prayer service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Church with the Rev. John Butler officiating.
