Leroy Renfrew

Leroy Renfrew, 90, of Saxonburg, passed away on Monday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born May 1, 1930, he was the son of the late Clarence and Laura Bartley Renfrew.

Roy was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.He retired in 1992 from Spang & Co. after 44 years of service.Roy was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saxonburg.He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed gardening and fishing.Surviving are his daughter, Linda and her husband and their son, (Leroy's grandson); his son, Roger and his wife, Cathy, of Fryburg, Pa.; one sister-in-law, Irene (David) Orwig of Killeen, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores, to whom he was married for 62 years until her death in 2018; two brothers; and one sister.RENFREW — Friends of Leroy Renfrew, who died Monday, April 26, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. James F. Neal officiating.Interment with military honors will be conducted by the Saxonburg American Legion 683 and will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church.Please visit www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
