Boyle

Regis F. Boyle, 77, of Mars died Wednesday morning at his home.

Born in Mars June 12, 1930, he was the son of John and Mathilda Osche Boyle.

He was retired crane operator for Armco Steel in Ambridge.

Mr. Boyle served in the Army during the Korean War, and he was a life member and past commander of Mars VFW Post 7505, was a past commander for the Butler County Council of the VFW and belonged to the Mars American Legion. He had been a volunteer at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

He was a member of St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church in Mars, and was a life member of Knights of Columbus Council 3907, Wexford. He also belonged to the Cranberry Elks and was a volunteer for Quality E.M.S.

Surviving are his wife, Agnes J. Jendrasak Boyle, whom he married Sept. 10, 1955; two daughters, Sharon Penrod and her husband, Karl, of Mars, and Jan Demme and her husband, John, of Cranberry Township; two sons, Regis F. Boyle, Jr. and his wife, Marcy, of Mars, and Jeffrey Boyle of Saxonburg; one sister, Betty Fotta of Valencia; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

<B>Boyle</B> — Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave. Mars. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church in Mars. Rev. Charles Bober, pastor, will officiate.
