DeCree

Florence Jean DeCree, 84, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Monday, Jan. 9, 2023.

Born May 30, 1938, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Ellen Martin Driscoll.

Florence was a member of St. Ferdinand Church-Divine Grace Parish.

Florence leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Christopher (Bethann) DeCree, Joseph (Erika) DeCree and Suzanne DeCree; her sisters, Ellen Ann Lemanowicz, Rose Marie Beck, Rose Driscoll and Mary Driscoll; her grandchildren, Patrick, Rosemary, Theresa, Margaret, Jennifer and John DeCree, Eric and Courtney Martin, and Casey and Michal Bindseil; and her great-granddaughter, Avery Marie Bindseil.

In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Christopher “Chris” Joseph DeCree, who passed away on Jan. 28, 2021; her brothers, John Driscoll, Edgar (Edge) Lemanowicz and Wally Beck; and her sister, Marion Driscoll.

DECREE — Friends of Florence Jean DeCree, who died Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ferdinand Church-Divine Grace Parish, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.

Florence will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.
