Wolf pardons a record 2,540 during his term
Outgoing Gov. Tom Wolf granted 369 pardons this week, bringing his total to 2,540, the most in history for a Pennsylvania governor.
Prior to Wolf, Gov. Ed Rendell held the record with 1,122 pardons granted, according to a Thursday news release from Wolf’s office.
The news release also said 395 of Wolf’s total pardons were part of the expedited review process for nonviolent marijuana-related offenses; and 232 were a part of the PA Marijuana Pardon Project.
