David Brian Morrison Sr., 59, of Eau Claire, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, after a short illness at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born Tuesday, March 19, 1963, in Clarion, and was the son of David L. Morrison and Elaine D. Shick Morrison.

He was employed at Kwik Fill in Barkeyville.

Dave was the most big-hearted man, a nonjudgmental gentle giant, and the best Big Pappy his grandchildren could have asked for. He could always be found working on anything with a motor. Dave was dearly loved by those who knew him and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his parents, David and Elaine Morrison of Karns City; a sister, Kim Tuzon and husband Manolo; his fiancée, Janet Bechtel and stepchildren, Christopher Whitefleet, and Caitlin Coates and spouse, Kurtis; his sons, David and Melissa Morrison Jr. and their children, Keria and Cadence of Emlenton, Joshua and Kelsea Morrison Sr. and their children, Cayden, Joshua Jr. and McKenzie of Karns City; his daughter, Brandy and Joe Davis; and his nieces, Janina and Jared Balmorse, and Nolani and D.J. Glipa.

MORRISON — There will be no visitation for David Brian Morrison Sr., who died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023.
