Irma E. Malovec
Irma E. Malovec, 98, of Valencia, Middlesex Township, died Friday under the care of Timpani Nursing Home, Gibsonia.
Born Jan. 6, 1911, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Valerie Malovec. She also was preceded in death by three sisters, the late Sister Mary Ann Malovec of the Vincentian Sisters of Charity, Mary Qualey and Catherine Malovec.
She was the loving aunt of Stephen (Frieda) Qualey of Las Vegas, Nev., Mary Val (William) Stewart of North Carolina and Virginia Mills of Valencia. Also surviving are many beloved great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Irma worked for Bell Telephone for more than 49 years.
She was a kind and giving person, who was beloved by many family and friends.
<B>MALOVEC </B>— The family of Irma E. Malovec, who died Friday, March 6, 2009, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home Ltd.</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Richard Church with Father Kenneth Oldenski as celebrant.
