Wisda

Paul M. Wisda, of Cabot, passed away at the age of 75, on Jan. 9, 2023, in his home with his family.

Born April 6, 1947, in Wilburton, Pa., he was the son of the late Paul A. Wisda and Eleanor Zinda Wisda.

Paul was a 1969 graduate of Bloomsburg University.

He retired as a plant controller for Allegheny Ludlum.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi in Herman.

Paul was an active member of the Roman Catholic Men’s Club and a social member of the Sarver Vets.

Paul was an avid fisherman. He especially enjoyed fly fishing in the Allegheny National Forest with his family, and had a love of nature and woodworking.

Surviving is his loving wife, Margaret Wisda, whom he married on Aug. 16, 1969.

He leaves behind his daughters, Michelle Wisda Miner and husband, Andrew Miner, of Brookfield, Wis., and Christine Wisda of Butler; his four grandsons, Drew, Garrett, Reid and Aiden; his sister, Patricia Wisda Semick and husband of Camp Hill; his faithful canine companion, Toby; and several nieces and nephews.

WISDA — A memorial Mass for Paul M. Wisda, who died Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Francis of Assisi Parish - St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman, with Father Ward Stakem, OFM Cap., officiating.

FOX FUNERAL HOME in Saxonburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
