Beverly Claypoole

Beverly D. “Babs” Claypoole, 43, of Petrolia passed away Saturday at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Beverly was born March 16, 1972, in Grove City. She was the daughter of Henry B. Ealy and Terry Scott Martin. Babs was a homemaker. She loved watching her husband DJ at various events.

Babs is survived by her husband, William “Jake” Claypoole, who she married April 24, 1992; her father, Henry B. Ealy of Slippery Rock; her mother, Terry Martin and her husband, Jay, of Slippery Rock; four children, David (Edith) Claypoole of Petrolia, Cassandra (Kurtis) Hulings of Ellwood City, Julie D. Claypoole and Benjamin H. Claypoole, both at home; three grandchildren; and two more expected in November.

Also surviving are three sisters, Cathy (George) McIntyre of St. Petersburg, Velma (Brian) Weckerly of North Washington and Joyce Ealy of Butler; two brothers, Len (Cathy) Ealy of Slippery Rock and William Morgan of Slippery Rock; and several nieces and nephews.

Babs was preceded in death by one brother.

CLAYPOOLE — Friends of Beverly D. “Babs” Claypoole, who died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Robert V. Mathias, retired Presbyterian minister, officiating.
