With a background in theater lighting design and video production, Ranson was born to make "A Snowglobe Christmas." Ron and his wife, Nicola, brought snowglobes from the Original Vienna Snowglobe company in Austria — inventors of the snowglobe. The company made the famous snowglobe for the classic movie "Citizen Kane," a replica of which appears in "A Snowglobe Christmas."
