Dolores V. Suter Bingham, 88, of Saxony Health Center, formerly of Penn Township, went peacefully to her heavenly home on Thursday morning surrounded by her loving family at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Pittsburgh on July 24, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Allison B. and Josephine J. Miklaucic Suter and the stepdaughter of the late Edward Paul Dyer Sr.

Dolores was a member of the Nixon Methodist Church where she sang in the choir.

She enjoyed playing bingo, doing word search books, camping, going to the senior center and being with her children and grandchildren.

She especially loved her many trips to Daytona Beach with her daughter Rebekah and her husband Richard.

In addition to her parents and stepfather, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Bingham Sr.; two brothers, Edward Miklaucic and Edward Paul Dyer Jr.; a stepbrother, William E. Dyer; and a grandson, Joseph Bingham.

She is survived by one daughter, Rebekah (Richard) Gallagher of Butler; two sons, Leighton (Polly) Bingham and David (Donna) Bingham Jr., both of Butler; one sister, Alberta Hoos of Ocala, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, Timothy (Bridgette) Gallagher, Chad Gallagher, Lisa (Bill) Hall, Michael Bingham, Robert (Melissa) Bingham, Henry (Shelly) Bingham, Carrie (Sean) Dellinger, Jacob (Leslie) Bingham, Shellyce (Kyle) Keyes, Amy Biscaro, Kimberly Bingham and Christopher Bingham; 24 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces.

BINGHAM — Friends of Dolores V. Bingham, who died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W.
