Kathryn O. Severn, 97, of Cabot passed away peacefully on Thursday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born Sept. 8, 1918, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Frank O'Hara and Elizabeth Poppert O'Hara. She lived in Brookline most of her life, moving to Valencia in retirement.

Surviving are her son, Arthur Severn; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her dear friend, Peg Harding.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John J. Severn; and her son, Gregory Severn

Severn, who died Thursday, June 30, 2016, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot with the Rev. Ward Stakem officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, 4000 Mt.
