Louise Sherman
Louise Sherman, 80, of Boyers passed away at 6:25 a.m. Monday at Home 2 Me in Slippery Rock.
A daughter of the late Joseph and Nellie Opat Widziszewski, she was born March 20, 1936, in Monessen.
Lou was a homemaker and enjoyed her family and outdoor activities, particularly camping and fishing, or as she put it “ruffian it.”
She had driven a school bus for 23 years.
She was a devout Catholic.
On Feb. 12, 1955, she married Albert Sherman; he died Nov. 21, 2002.
Surviving are her son, Michael Sherman and his fiancee, Dianna Habucky, of Emlenton; her daughter, Nancy Sherman of Boyers; four grandchildren, Cody, Adam, Wes and Kelly; and four great-grandchildren, Alexander, Kendrah, Mason and Jett.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynn Smith.
SHERMAN — Friends of Louise Sherman, who died Monday, April 11, 2016, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Jamison funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville.A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Church, 670 S. Main St., Slippery Rock, with the Rev. Kevin G.
