Angelena Nichole Campisi Glaser
Angelena Nichole Campisi Glaser, 35, of Harrisville passed away peacefully Saturday with her husband at her side after a courageous four-year battle with cancer at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
Born May 30, 1983, in Allegheny County, she was the daughter of Mark Campisi and Teresa Palmer Augustine, both of whom survive.
Upon graduating high school, Angelena obtained her associate degree from Butler County Community College and then her bachelor's degree in accounting at Franklin University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
She began her career in accounting and embodied determination and perseverance as she continued working, even during her treatments and multiple surgeries. She worked for several years with Repsol Energy before her illness eventually prevented her from continuing.
Angie enjoyed attending the Grace Community Church in Cranberry Township with her family.
She was a devoted and caring wife to her husband Rick Glaser of Harrisville, whom she married on July 26, 2008, who survives.
Angie loved her family and always put them first. Her son, Ayden Glaser who survives, was her world, purpose and strength.
Angie was a tenacious and caring person who was honest and not afraid to speak her mind. Her laugh was something special and will always be remembered.
In addition to her husband, Rick, and her son Ayden, Angelena is survived by one brother, Brett Campisi of Butler; two stepsisters, Kristen and Juliana Augustine, both of Saxonburg; her mother-in-law, Beth Glaser; a sister-in-law, Sara (Dan) Brewer of West Sunbury; her step-father, Keith Augustine of Saxonburg; her paternal grandparents, Carol and Steve Campisi; and her maternal grandmother, Elaine Palmer.
