Alice Florence Arblaster FaJohn, 83, of Slippery Rock, West Liberty Borough, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday at Orchard Manor in Grove City.

She was born July 21, 1931, on Water Street in Slippery Rock Borough, to the late Henry W. Arblaster and Alice A. Christy Arblaster.

She graduated from the West Liberty One-Room School, which she attended for eight years.

She married Celestino “Shep” FaJohn, who preceded her in death in March 1973.

She was a member of West Liberty United Methodist Church.

Before her retirement, had worked in the dietary department at Slippery Rock University.

She enjoyed baking and yard work, and truly loved decorating for every holiday.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane L. FaJohn of Grove City; two sons, Ricky J. and his wife, Sharon FaJohn, of Slippery Rock, and Nathan A. FaJohn, also of Slippery Rock; three grandchildren, Erica, Joshua and Nikki; and her great-grandson, Bentley.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
