Franklin Civic Operetta Association's Barrow-Civic Theatre will be the site of evening showings of the contemporary musical “The Last Five Years” Friday and Saturday and Feb. 28 and March 1. The show is directed by Cabot native Becki Toth, a graduate and faculty member of Grove City College. Serving as accompanist for the show is piano instructor and GCC faculty member, Paula Kubik. Former Seneca Valley High School student and Cranberry Township native Jim Stanek has returned to play the lead role of Robert in “Company” in his debut at the Pittsburgh Public Theater. He made his Broadway debut going on for Jude Law in “Indiscretions.” He then played Hero for two years in “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.” “Company,” Stephen Sondheim's musical comedy set in Manhattan, runs through Sunday at the O'Reilly Theater, 621 Penn Ave. Tickets are $29 to $60; students and those 26 and younger pay $15.75.
