John Liebau
John “Jack” Liebau, 82, of Jackson Township, passed away peacefully Dec. 22, 2022, at his home.
He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his daughter, Lori Rasp (Bill Thomas) and his granddaughters, Lindsay (Matthew) Jason and Marissa Rasp (Justin Basham); and three great-grandchildren, Calvin, Amorabella and Violet.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Doris, and his son, Jack Jr.
Jack was the owner of JDL Leasing. He was an avid car collector and enjoyed going to car shows with his many friends.
Jack was one of the founding members, having served as treasurer of Lizzy’s Bikes, a nonprofit which has given over 1,200 deserving children a bike of their very own.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a proud veteran.
He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered for his quick wit by his family and friends.
LIEBAU — Friends of John “Jack” Liebau, who died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022, will be received for visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
He will be laid to rest with military honors at the Pinewood Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cranberry Township.
