Joan E. West of Grove City, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday evening, Dec. 21, 2022.

She was born in Ellwood City, to Harold and Elizabeth (Mayers) Moss.

Joan married Daniel J. West on Aug. 10, 1991.

She was a graduate of New Castle High School.

Joan retired from Office of Personnel Management in Boyers.

She enjoyed cooking, spending time at camp and with family, and her puppies.

Survivors include her husband, Dan at home; her children, Elaine Curley, Richard (Elizabeth) Brown, Sharon Brown, Tiffany (Kevin) Altman and Christopher (Rochelle) West; 17 grandkids; and 10 great-grandkids.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Our pain at losing her is only outmatched by the peace of knowing she is enjoying eternity with Jesus.

WEST — Visitation hours for Joan E. West, who died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Oak Park Cemetery in New Castle.

Joan loved animals and her family would like in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name to the Grove City Area Pet Rescue, 300 Oak St., Grove City, PA 16127.
