Linda Fisher Skrupski
Linda Fisher Skrupski, 64, of Matlock, Canada, formerly of Cabot, died Monday.
Linda was born Sept. 5, 1952, in Pittsburgh. She graduated from Knoch High School in 1970 before continuing her education at the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, where she earned her bachelor's degree.
Linda also was an ordained minister. She was an avid reader and loved playing cards, traveling and taking walks.
Linda is survived by her mother, Bernice “Bunny” Fisher; her husband, Edward Skrupski; two sisters, Gail (Larry) Schmidt and Beverly (James) Lubbert; three stepchildren, Darren (Alison) Skrupski, Pamela (Russ) Todack and Patti (Dunkin) Bowman; two nephews, Larry and Jeremy Schmidt; three stepgrandchildren, Evan and Emily Skrupski and Eric Bowman; and two great-nephews, Trenton and Dakoda Schmidt.
She was preceded in death by her father, LeRoy C. Fisher; and her brother, Lee.
SKRUPSKI — A memorial service for Linda Fisher Skrupski, who died Monday, Jan 16, 2017, will be conducted later.Memorial donations may be made to a charity benefiting those suffering from ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
