Choir brings Christmas joy

Slippery Rock High School students presented a Christmas concert on Dec. 21, 1970, which concluded a series of preholiday performances organized by the school district.
Sue Shirey, left, a senior at the school, was narrator of the show, and sang alongside juniors Cheryl Allen, Ruth Stevenson and Denny Taggert.
The choir presented a musical, “The Choir Boy Who Couldn’t Sing,” at an assembly that day.
