Lorraine C. Cieslak
Lorraine C. Cieslak, 83, of Richland Township, Gibsonia, passed away Saturday evening at St. Barnabas Home in Gibsonia.
Born in Scottdale on Sept. 10, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lorraine Amend Carlin.
A homemaker, Lorraine was a member of the St. Kilian Church, where she belonged to the Christian Mothers.
An avid card player in the Mars area, she also was a member of the Haymont Card Club.
Surviving are her two daughters, Mary J. Watach (Joseph) of Ambridge, and Kathleen M. Ochsenreiter (Robert) of Glenshaw; her six sons, Edward T. Cieslak (Irene) of Tucson, Ariz., David G. Cieslak (Linda) of St. Michael, Minn., Kenneth V. Cieslak (Catherine) of Lady Smith, Va., Gregory P. Cieslak of Gibsonia, Jeffrey A. Cieslak (Christen) of Ben Avon and Brian K. Cieslak of Gibsonia; her 18 grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren; her sister, Regina Carlin of Lake Charles, La.; her brother, George Carlin (Carol) of Economy; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor A. Cieslak, who she married on Jan. 19, 1952, and who passed away on Oct. 20, 2008; her sister, Rose Mary Aul; and her three brothers, James, Thomas and William Carlin.

Cieslak, who passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014, will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.A Mass of Christian burial will be at the St. Kilian Church at the corner of Clark and Cherry Streets, Mars, at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Father Charles Bober, pastor, officiating.
