Diane Toney

Diane Toney, 56, of East Long Avenue, New Castle, passed away Wednesday morning at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Born in Ellwood City on May 6, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Edward P. and Kathleen P. LeFebvre Kelley.

Surviving her at home is her beloved husband, Dave Toney, who she married in July 1994.

Diane worked as a produce manager for Save-A-Lot and formerly had been an owner and operator of Dave's Market with her husband.

She was a member of St. Elias Orthodox Church. Diane enjoyed flower gardening and crafts, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Diane is survived by her children, Chastity Christine Druga of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Lance D. Druga of New Castle; her sisters, Patricia Painter of Evans City, Linda Nye of Portersville, Kathleen Hempfling of Portersville, Rose Dean of Brookville and Mary Lechner of Potsdam, N.Y.; and her grandchildren, Alex, Noah, and Brody.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward (Joe) Kelley.

TONEY — Visitation for Diane Toney, who died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St., New Castle.A trisagion service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Elias Orthodox Church, officiated by the Rev. Kevin Long.
