Sonja Jo McMaster Kummer, 45, of Connoquenessing died tragically Saturday morning in Unionville.

Born in Ellwood City, April 15, 1967, she was the daughter of Phyllis Westerman and William McMaster.

She was a Protestant.

She had been employed in home health care.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Shane R. Kummer, and her grandparents, Harold and Mildred Westerman and Robert and Bertha McMaster.

Surviving are a son, Joshua R. Kummer of Connoquenessing; her parents, Phyllis Westerman of Connoquenessing and William McMaster of Butler; two sisters, Lorie (Jeffrey) Alexander of Monaca and Kris (Dale) Kriess of Butler; and one niece and four nephews.

KUMMER — Relatives and friends of Sonja Jo McMaster Kummer, who died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, will be received at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
