Mary Lucy Blasko
Mary Lucy Blasko, 96, of Butler, passed away Wednesday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on March 17, 1918, in Reynoldsville, and was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary Bibbo.
Mary was formerly employed at the Spaide Shirt Factory.
She was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, the Altar Ladies of Saint Michael, and the 55 and Alive of Saint Michael.
She is survived by her son, Patsy J. Blasko of Sandusky, Ohio; her grandson, Patrick J. Blasko of Sandusky, Ohio, and her special nephews and nieces, Robert (Diane) Bonetti, Patsy Bibbo, Rob (Laura) Dobson, Frankie (Robert) Dobson, and Bonnie (David) Miller. She is also survived by her special family friends, William (Wendy) Pounds, Irene McLaughlin, Tom Lynch, Ken Means, and Jack Lewis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Blasko, who passed away on March 27, 2002; her daughter-in-law, Nancy Blasko, who passed away on Nov. 11, 1995; her brother, Anthony Bibbo, and her two sisters, Sue Bonetti and Josephine Terling.
Blasko— The friends of Mary Lucy Blasko, who passed away Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, will be received from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m. Saturday at Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler.
