BETHANY, W.Va. — Knoch graduate Madilyn Boyer scored the go-ahead layup with 37 seconds remaining Monday to lift the Penn State Behrend women’s basketball team to a 72-68 victory over Bethany.
The Lions trailed 67-66 when Boyer drained the basket, was fouled and completed the three-point play. She tallied her second double-double of the season withj13 points and 10 rebounds.
Boocks nets 17 in Clarion victory
CLARION — A-C Valley graduate Olivia Boocks, a senior guard for the Clarion University women’s basketball team, scored a season-high 17 points Monday in the Golden Eagles’ 67-48 win over Shepherd.
Boocks sank five of six shots from three-point range and contributed three steals.
