Bonnie Fry
Bonnie D. Fry, 72, of Chicora, passed away the morning of Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, at her home.
Born on Oct.10, 1950, in Butler, Bonnie was the daughter of the late Clinton A. Moore and late Chelcie G. King Moore.
Bonnie was a devoted mother. She raised her children and worked at JCPenney as a sales associate until adopting and raising four grandchildren.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Jack A. Fry, whom she married on Oct. 31, 1969; three daughters, Lisa Fry of Ohio, Kimberley Rihel of Chicora and Kathryn (Jason) Gavinski of Chicora; one son, Jeffrey (Rebecca) Fry of Ohio; her four adopted grandchildren, Bryan Fry, Jessamyn (Jared) Palmer, Dustyn (Trista) Rihel Fry and Skylee Fry; four grandchildren, Alycia McDonald, Marcus Fry, Alex Fry and River Gavinski; and six great-grandchildren. Bonnie also is survived by two sisters, Sandy Hillwig and Dane of Chicora and Alice Bobbio of Florida; one brother, David (Sharon) Moore, of Chicora; and many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
FRY — Family and friends of Bonnie D. Fry, who died Saturday, Dec.17, 2022, will be received for visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Boyd Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Zion Church Cemetery.
