Beatrice L. (Courtney) Wagg

Beatrice L. (Courtney) Wagg, 84, of Middlesex Township passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021, at New Haven Court at Clearview in Butler.

She was born March 13, 1936, in Sewickley, and was the daughter of the late William Scott and Florence (Rhodes) Courtney.

Her paternal family were original settlers in Emsworth, Pa. The family took immense pride in their historical lineage in Emsworth's early years.

She was an educator in the Mars Area School District for many years.

In later years, she worked as an administrative assistant at Re/Max Metro Corp Realty in Cranberry Township.

In her early years, she enjoyed regular card club dates with her many friends. Needlepoint, reading and traveling were a few of her many interests.

Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Otto (Bill) Wagg; her sons, William J. Wagg of Pittsburgh, and Erik O. (Rue) Wagg of Greeley, Colo.; her daughter, Belinda L. Stewart of Butler; and three grandchildren, Brandi L. (Kevin) Stewart Ross, Justin Wagg and David Stewart.
