The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts.

Dec. 14 — Charges were filed against a 16-year-old male student from Eau Claire for having a vape pen containing THC and three additional cartridges containing THC at Moniteau Junior/Senior High School.

Dec. 16 — Chad Vogel, 33, of Valencia was charged with strangulation, simple assault and harassment. Police said he shoved and strangled a 31-year-old woman in Clinton Township.

Nov. 5 — Kevin Ray Kirk, 21, of Beaver Falls in Beaver County, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property. Police said he paid 50 cents for a memory foam mattress valued at $262 at Walmart by affixing a UPC tag from a bandanna costing 50 cents to the mattress box.

Sept. 30 — Brandon Lee Mathie, 39, of Mogadore, Ohio, was charged with two felony counts of retail theft and a felony count of receiving stolen property. Police said he and another male, who has not been identified, loaded a shopping cart in Target on Route 228 with electronics, covered them with other merchandise and left the store without attempting to buy any of the merchandise, which was valued at $3,056.
