Hailey Elizabeth Weiland, 6, of Cranberry Township passed away Tuesday in West Virginia.

She was born July 2, 2004 in Tampa, Fla., the daughter of Jon Weiland Jr. of Tampa, and Carla Aiken of Cranberry Township.

Hailey loved being silly and brought a smile to everyone's face. She was a girlie girl who loved playing with her friends, dressing up, playing with her dolls, watching "ICarly" on TV, and getting her nails done. She enjoyed coloring, doing art projects, riding her bicycle, camping and bonfires with her family and most recently enjoyed a family trip to the beach where she and her brother enjoyed swimming in the ocean. She was a Daisy Girl Scout and attended Haine Elementary. She and her brother Logan were like two peas in a pod.

Surviving are her mother, Carla Aiken and her boyfriend/father figure, Christopher Gardner; her father, Jon Weiland, Jr. of Tampa; a brother, Eithan Beckwith of Cranberry Township; a sister, Nicole "Sissy" Weiland of Tampa; maternal grandmother, Deborah Stivason of Butler; maternal grandfather, Carl Aiken of Tampa; paternal grandmother, Susan Carter of Tampa; and paternal grandfather, Jon Weiland, Sr. of Golden Canyon, Ariz.; maternal great-grandmother, Hazel Hilliard of Butler; paternal great-grandmother, Lucy Weiland of Apache Junction, Ariz.; a special uncle and friend, Jim Fritch of Butler; two aunts, Tina Rubel of Tampa, and Angela (Nonnie) Carter of Tacoma, Wash.; and many very special cousins and great aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Logan Beckwith; her great- uncle, Thomas McLaughlin; and her great grandparents.

<B>WEILAND — </B>Friends of Hailey Elizabeth Weiland, who died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the<B> YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, </B>127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. Services have been changed and will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the North Street Christian Church, 226 W. North St., Butler, with the Rev. Bob Huber, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made toward the funeral arrangements for Hailey at any Citizen's Bank location to the Logan Beckwith & Hailey Weiland Memorial or at any PNC Bank to the Logan & Hailey Foundation.For more information, go to www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
