Tip of the WeekDo you feel like you are not getting the proper power into your release? Are you falling off balance at the foul line? Are you lacking consistency from shot to shot?Perhaps it’s your posture. It is important to remember to get low for a powerful release. It is also important to bend at the knees and not at the waist all the way through your shot.Bending at the waist causes you to lose power and leverage at the point of release. It also changes the plane of your arm swing, causing you to “muscle” your shot.Proper posture also helps you maintain your balance, allowing for a better chance to repeat shots and improving consistency.
